Hatch to Hire is an apprenticeship program designed to connect talent to opportunity and build careers and teams that last. We journey with young talent navigating the world of work, and work with small organisations to solve the talent gap.

We’ve been doing this since 2018, so we know that community makes all the difference to landing, keeping and most importantly - engaging in work that matches with the life you want to build. Apprentices are supported by a community that includes job coaches, mentors - people who have been there before, and people equipped to navigate the duality of uncertainty and possibility.

We go all in with our apprentices and employers with an outcome-based payment model.

Hatch to Hire’s outcome-based payment model means that apprentices and employers are only charged when a match has truly been successful. That’s because we believe everyone deserves access to the support they need, and the best outcomes happen when everyone’s interests are aligned - not at odds.

Hatch

Hatch is a social venture that crafts supportive, inclusive, end to end employment infrastructure with people at the center. Since 2018, we have worked with over 4000 youth from all walks of life through train and place programmes, and achieved a placement rate of 78% - double our industry’s average.

We root for the individuals who do better in real life than on paper, and walk with the belief that everyone can thrive with sufficient self knowledge and scaffolded access to opportunities. Together with employers who understand that human capital is mission critical and worth investing in, we are building a movement to help individuals find their place in the new economy and businesses to bridge the talent gap in a complex hiring landscape.

Our experience has shown us the transformative impact finding the right work can have on people; how finding the right talent can transform an organisation; and how an engaged workforce transforms an economy. We think the dots can be connected and make all the difference, and we’re convinced that we’re the right people to do it.
