MHFFS was preparing for a new festival cycle and needed a refreshed website to match their updated branding and upcoming programmes. The redesign focused on creating a clearer, more visually engaging platform where users could easily explore film listings, event details, and festival updates.

A fragmented digital experience.
A fragmented digital experience.
An outdated site layout made it hard for users to find film details, schedules, and festival information. Visuals and messaging felt disconnected from the new MHFFS brand identity. On top of that, key programmes and new events were not highlighted clearly, leading to low engagement.

With the end goal of engagement and conversion in mind, Hatch Media redesigned MHFFS' interface with intuitive navigation and clearer pathways to films, events, and updates. We developed a modern visual direction aligned with MHFFS’s new brand, creating a cohesive and inviting experience. Finally, we restructured content to spotlight upcoming programmes and encourage deeper user engagement.

“We've had the pleasure of working with Hatch Media before, and I’m confident we’ll continue the partnership this year. They not only built a strong working relationship with us but also took the lead in designing and optimizing our website, ensuring it clearly communicated our mission and engaged our audience effectively. Even within a short timeframe last year, they delivered impressive results that exceeded our expectations.
Beyond the website, Hatch has been incredibly resourceful—troubleshooting issues with our platforms when content on mental health faced restrictions, and offering solutions that kept our campaigns running smoothly. Their experience running mental health campaigns, combined with their work supporting websites and communications for other social impact organizations, makes them uniquely qualified to help us achieve meaningful impact.”
