Kita supports youths from under-resourced communities by walking alongside them in a participatory, person-centred way. As they prepare for their new chapter and official launch, they’re unveiling a strengthened brand and a more expressive way to communicate their mission.

An early foundation built for speed, not storytelling.
An early foundation built for speed, not storytelling.
The Kita team were quick to launch a barebones website that cemented their presence in the digital space. But with minimal functionality and branding, it no longer reflected Kita's current identity or how it was poised to grow. Important information about the organisation's programmes, partners and funders, and and invitation to get involved was also missing.
Something special was also missing: The Kita community's warmth, energy, and youth-centered spirit.

A refreshed site bringing Kita’s brand and youth stories to life.

We designed a full site structure highlighting Kita's programmes, stories, and philosophy, and applied their new brand identity across layout, colours, and messaging. Finally, we created a guided user journey to build trust and deepen engagement

“Working with Angel and the Hatch Media team on Kita's website revamp was honestly one of the best decisions we made this year.
Here's the thing: we came to her with a lengthy brief and approximately seven thousand opinions on what "felt right." Instead of running away screaming (which would've been totally understandable), she rolled up her sleeves and got to work. Her eye for design is sharp – she turned our abstract ideas into something that actually looked good while still feeling distinctly us. Playful but professional.
She's also ridiculously responsive. Questions got answered fast. Feedback got turned around quickly. When we changed our minds about things, she adapted without making us feel like the indecisive messes we absolutely were.
And when deadlines got tight, she put in the hours. Overtime included. No drama, just "let's get this done."
Beyond technical skills and design chops, Angel got what we were trying to do. Building a website for a youth-focused non-profit isn't just about aesthetics, it's about making people feel like they belong the second they land on the page. She understood that. She delivered that.
If you're looking for someone who's talented, patient and genuinely invested in making your project work, Angel’s your girl. We're so pleased with what she built for us and would work with her again in a heartbeat.
