‘In The Making’ is a collaboration between Hatch and Rainbow Centre’s Micro Business Academy, supporting persons with disabilities and their caregivers in building home-based micro businesses. They needed a unified microsite to introduce the five families, share their stories, and present their businesses clearly.

The businesses were doing good, honest, and deeply impactful work - but there was no central space for the public to learn about them - why they existed and what they offered. Stories weren't presented consistently, and businesses felt disconnected from each other. Visibility was also limited, making it hard for audiences to discover and support them.

We built a microsite introducing the 5 participating families, the products they offered, and the meaning and stories behind them. With clear, simple layouts, content was designed to be easy to understand and the site highly explorable.
Ultimately, we created a cohesive digital space to help the public connect with—and buy from—their micro businesses and support the families' livelihoods.
